I was in the same boat, but I ended up buying a sleeve instead. I would think hard cases are beneficial if you travel a lot. I personally really like the Be.ez La Robe sleeve. The zippers are completely covered from scratching the MBP.
I am considering buying Be.ez Le Reporter messenger bag as well, but I can't seem to find any reviews.

what is the problem?
How should I know? You've not posted the code. I'm not psychic.

Can you still see all your RAM? Is there anything running in the background like Seti@Home and so on?
All the ram is there. No seti's. Thanks.

Good idea in making this forum arn. Now general mac discussion won't be littered with "why should I switch" or things like that.

Given that you already know PHP and javascript, you just need help with the Python syntax. I looked up removing duplicate lines in a file on google:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=python+remove+duplicate+lines+from+a+file
I got this hit:
http://metadeveloper.blogspot.com/2007/07/remove-duplicate-lines-in-python.html
Or this:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1215208/how-might-i-remove-duplicate-lines-from-a-file
Try that and start building up your scripts from there.

Thanks for your help.
If I can't get the upgrade I'm just going to buy an external HD and make it a network drive. That would work quite well. If you don't mind a non-portable drive (and it sounds like you don't), you'll get a lot more for your money (vs a portable drive).

A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.

First off, calm down.
Secondly, do you have anything on the HDD that you need backed up?
If you do not, just put in your original discs that came with the computer and hold down the C key while starting up to boot off the disc. Then, use Disk Utility once the Installer loads to format your HDD and reinstall your OS.

Me either! Clerendon is definitely looking busy, so *hopefully* Reston will be alright. I've tried calling the store all day and cannot seem to get a response out of them on anything, much less when they'll let people line up, how many they'll have, etc.. =/
Probably going to try and be there around 4 or 5.

I hope someone with a 27" helps you out soon.
I'm looking to buy a 2010 from the Refurb store tonight [early hours tomorrow] so may be able to help in a few days time if the answer is still outstanding.

I have decided to make a thread because I have exhausted all my means of club searching, I have yet to get bad advice from MR, and lots of good clubs try to stay underground.
I love to dance. I try to dance 4 times a week, but usually I only get 3 nights per week. Wednesdays are always annoying because I can't ever find a club to go to and I have no class on Thursday, so I can sleep in.
So if anyone here is familiar with clubs in New York City, please help me out:
I'm gay - so a gay club is preferable, but I'd be more than willing to go to a straight club if they have good music. Mixed clubs are a lot of fun too. A place like webster hall, which isn't mixed at all would be a last resort.
I'm a poor student - free is preferable, but I'd be willing to pay up to $15, depending on how much I feel like dancing (which is usually quite a bit :p).
I want to dance, not lounge! So no lounges or bars, please!
I'm only 18, so 21+ clubs aren't possible. I don't have a fake ID, I don't drink.
I'm in Manhattan, and I'm not so keen about riding the subway from too far away back to my dorm at 3-5AM after I'm done dancing. So, a club in Manhattan would be nice, near Union Square would be awesome. I like to walk to/from clubs to warm up/cool down my legs. :)
It really is driving me nuts staying pent up in my dorm on Wednesday nights, when I'm in a dancing mood, so you have no idea how much I'll love you if you can find me a good place to go dancing on Wed. nights.
Thanks :),

Panther doesn't claim to support any
G3 without built in usb ports. That means the beige boxes and the first G3 laptops are out of luck.
Would Apple purposely exclude these machines even though the ability is there in both the machines and the OS?

With the same configuration, is a netbook the lighter the better? I am confused. Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

Great site, not unlike this one:- a lot of people who seem to enjoy a good barney every once in a while. Some N00bs, some real old hands, a good mix!
Been going there for a while. :D
For sure, bigblue's been none of the most helpful forums vie ever used.

I have jaguar running on my wallstreet 233 and it works fine and is very stable. I do not use it as my main computer anymore but it works fine when i need it. Freehand and Photoshop run fine on it as do less intensive apps, although long actions in ps can get tedious.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a hack for panther once it comes out unless there is some large hardware/firmware problem to overcome.
