Actually, it probably helps Apple in the big picture. Eighty people get a fantastic deal - and they know it's a special deal, so the real value of the iPad is reinforced. And a whole lot of people, who missed out on the deal, have reinforced the perception that the iPad is not a commodity, and that Apple's msrp is 'true' price. And further, those people who missed out have now 'decided' that they want an iPad, and a fair number will go and buy one at full price. Apple wins in this case. first option: if it was me i would contact ebay and paypal and said that the item arrived was not as described =D it wasn't one of "these" as the seller had described....since the seller described two features to the auction and you've only received 1 (the photo portion)....worth a try?

third option: the photo was damaged during shipping =D

If some generic reseller wanted to charge an extra $200 per iPad MSRP would people email SJ asking why is he allowing that? Kind of Sad.

It's easy for you guys to say "provide proof" when you know as well as I do that much of this information, and the full story of how this all happened will never see the light of day. Thats basically the lazy mans out...I could easily have said provide proof that these techniques did not lead to the killing of O.B.L.
I never said water boarding was used, but I have heard interviews on more than one radio station that claim "Enhanced Techniques" such as subjecting the interviewee (in this case K.S.M.) to extreme cold which required him to be hospitalized, having him wear a bra, playing loud music 24/7, etc..were used and provided bits and pieces of information that led to the killing O.B.L.
Many forum members here in the past have claimed that these methods also fall under the classification of torture, so what if information obtained using these methods led to the death of O.B.L.?
As for the poster who asked what has been gained by his death, its called retribution.

i have just Upgraded my iphone 4 to 4.3.2 using sn0wbreese..
then i have instaled lots of apps from cydia and some of the hack sites..
what i hav noticed , that if i reboot my iphone, it goes to safe mode. then i need to respring the winterboard, after that it works fine.
is it normal ? any patch ?
please help

To me it looks like necessary groundwork to bring this kind of functionality to touch devices, but I hope there are people out there who can create a more intuitive interface paradigm than just having a ton of dense pop-over palettes etc.

I don't like the idea. The moment they start chipping away at devices, it'll set a bad precedent for future negotiations. It'll be hard to get back those rights. Apple, hold strong!! :)
As much as I don't like the idea of limiting the amount of devices that can play content purchased from the iTunes Store, I think that Apple might eventually have to come to a middleground with the other movie studios. Apple did have to come into some sort of agreement when the made the deal with Disney, so I think that they will do the same with the other studios.
Personally, I would not have too much of a problem if content were limited to 5 computers and 5 iPods.
I can understand what the studios are doing. Hell, I know it well because of the fact that I work in the movie industry. I can say first-hand that everything is about business and money first, artistic expression second.
