The only thing you mentioned in the op is cost, which i already addressed. And as i said, i don't support capital punishment for crimes like rape, desertion, or treason. Actually, child rape is death penalty worthy. Either way though, I'm really not trying to prove anything, I'm just stating my opinion that i support the current laws regarding that. You on the other hand are trying to prove that the death penalty is wrong, and as of now I don't think you've proven your point.

One tip I have for those clients who want to change absolutley every little detail... explain that you are happy to change it all for an extra fee, and you'll even offer a lower hourly rate since you're not being asked to do anything creative, but remind them that they will end up with a site designed by an amateur to their personal, individual taste, rather than the site designed by a professional and designed to appeal to their whole customer base that they've already paid for.
Make sure you have a paper trail for all decisions. Obviously the original contract, but it's very important to repeat all verbal changes through email. Email records are very handy to point to and find, "oops, I did say that," or advise, "well, you did say that."

I also work in a large engineering consulting firm that uses only Windows XP. I have been using my mac on my own for work for the last two years or so (Please no comments about using personal machines for work. I am aware). I would love to see some others be allowed to use Macs because I think they make sense for some jobs. It would not make sense for everyone to go to Macs because we have some windows-only software requirements.
I am interested to see what answers come. My major curiosity is how well the Macs integrate into an Active Directory domain. I don't want anyone in the company to be able to log into my personal machine, so I have not tried it yet.

well here is the damage.
I cant get the old paste off the gpu as its baked on hard!
Top left corner of GPU looks burnt to me. Maybe it's bad picture quality, but if it's burnt really (what makes it DOA), it may explain why thermal paste is baked on.

When you take forever to get the phone on VZW you should expect people to take their time switching.
First, you've let Android have all that time to get a following because it's the only alternative for the lack of an iPhone. Those people have also bought apps that they now enjoy and would have to re-purchase on the iPhone. This happens with video game systems as well.
Second, people are in 2yr contracts. There are very few people who are willing to pay more for a phone they can buy 4 months later at half price on top of the termination fee.
Third, not that many people hate AT&T it's just the handful of VZW fans that make it look that way.
And finally you have the reporting and reviews. All the reports I saw were telling VZW people and potential switchers to hold off on getting the iPhone 4. No 4G, no white and still had the questionable signal issues. The "iPhone 5" was supposed to come out mid to late summer so people were concerned Apple would sell them a phone and then jump up 6 months later with the newer, thiner, better version and leave folks hanging.
People are paying attention to these reports and that's why I feel the numbers were low.

Hi,
To give you a quick background we have a central server where students at our college turn in their projects to a drop box. We have 1 student login and password that every student uses to access the dropbox. Is there anything wrong with this method of workflow or should every student have their own login and password?
Any insight would help.

To be honest, it's only another iPhone rumor to add to the mix. The idea that Apple is ploughing ahead with new models is nice, but let's wait for v1.0 first before we start speculating about 'new' features.

It is a toy. You can't seriously think that professionals are going to depend on Photoshop for iPad and throw away their computer can you? That's like throwing away your computer because GarageBand is also available on the iPad, and attempting to produce an album on an iPad. Impossible.
No matter what Steve says, it is a toy! I think it is brilliant you can do these things on such a simple product for the average user, but they are nothing more than for... the average user.
